Meet The Therapist

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2013 and I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Working with cancer patients is what drew me to massage therapy originally. I specialize not only in working with cancer patients, but also athletes, and the elderly. I use a variety of modalities to customize each massage to the client’s specific needs. During sessions I also provide each client with an assessment, treatment plan, and education to better promote their wellness. I currently have my own massage therapy practice called Hatfield’s Healing Hands located in Wilmington Family Chiropractic & Wellness Center.

I graduated from Nashua Community College in 2013 with a certificate in Holistic Massage Therapy. At NCC I was also an active member of the Massage Therapy Club, which has participated in various large events at the Boston Marathon, Saint’s Medical Center, and Lahey Hospital. I also represented the Holistic Massage Therapy Program at NCC during the College’s open house event.

During my education I attained specialized modalities in PrenatalMassage, Somatic Massage, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point. With my education in Pathology, Holistic Health & Wellness, Anatomy, Psychology, and Kinesiology, I am able to safely and effectively work on the human body.

Upon my certificate, I attained 32 hours of continuing education in Oncology Massage. My oncology training was done with Tracy Walton in an intensive training course called ”Oncology Massage Therapy: Caring for Clients with Cancer”. During this course I learned how to manage complex health information with ease, work compassionately with full presence, and work confidently with clients during treatment and post treatment. The training prepared me to modify massage for surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, biologic therapy, and hormone therapy.

My goal is to restore balance and wellness and provide a pathway to well-being.
